In this personal injury case, the plaintiff was an employee of the defendant and was injured on the job. The trial court granted the defendant’s motion for summary judgment concluding that the plaintiff had executed a general release of liability in favor of the defendant. The Court of Appeals reversed, holding that the release was invalid as against public policy.
