WASSERSTROM, Judge.

Defendant appeals from his conviction by a jury of second degree robbery and a resulting sentence of eight years. We affirm.

Shortly after midnight on September 19, 1979, a man later identified as defendant entered D.J.’s Liquors and asked the two employees on duty if he could speak with the owner. One of the employees, Debra Johnson, told him that the owner, Daniel Johnson, was in the back.
