ARNOLD, Circuit Judge.

Defendants Leonard Kragness, Dennis Deters, Peter Caspersen, Jerald Holbrook, and Ronald Prescott were charged in a thirteen-count indictment with conspiring to violate and violating the Racketeer-Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), 18 U.S.C. §§ 1962(c) and (d), with several drug conspiracies, and with other substantive offenses.
