I. JURISDICTION
A bench trial was held in the above-captioned case August 30, 2005, through August 31, 2005. Class Plaintiffs are seeking to recover benefits under an ERISA plan pursuant to 29 U.S.C § 1132(a)(1)(B). Federal subject matter jurisdiction is proper under 28 U.S.C. § 1331 and personal jurisdiction and venue are proper in the Southern District of Iowa.
