ZACHARY, Judge.

*400 Respondent-father appeals from an order adjudicating his daughter " Tanya" 1 to be a neglected and dependent juvenile. On appeal respondent argues that the trial court erred by assuming emergency jurisdiction over the case; that "as a matter of due *96 process, North Carolina does not have jurisdiction over children who are alleged to have been neglected in other states"; that the trial court erred by adjudicating Tanya to be a neglected and dependent child; and that the trial court erred in its dispositional order.
