This appeal presents the question whether it was error upon the part of the tax commissioners to assess shares held by relator in New York city national banks for taxation in 1890 to the amount of $92,464. The facts, as they appear from the petition and return to the certiorari, show that the relator and appellant is a corporation created by and under the laws of Connecticut.
