MONROE, J.
Defendants, having been jointly indicted and tried together for the murder of Walter Lamana, have appealed from a verdict of conviction and sentence of death, and present their case to this court on bills of exception to the admission of certain testimony, which is made part of the bills, and a bill to the overruling of a motion for a new trial. The prosecution has been conducted upon the hypothesis that on Saturday, June 8, 1907, Walter Lamana, a boy eight years old, was kidnapped from the neighborhood of his home, in New Orleans, taken to the residence of one…
