Plaintiff, Binladen BSB Landscaping (hereinafter “Binladen”), was the shipper and consignee of a shipment of ten refrigerated containers of live plants from the United States to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in June and July 1980. Nine containers were shipped from Miami under Miami/Jeddah bills of lading RC-1 and RC-2 dated June 14, 1980.
