[EDITOR'S NOTE: This case is unpublished as indicated by the issuing court.]MEMORANDUM OF DECISION The principal issue in this action for breach of a contract to pay rent and for damages to the leasehold premises is which parties, the plaintiffs or the defendants, in light of the provisions of General Statutes § 47a-11a, have the burden of proof with respect to the issue of mitigation of damages in a claim for damages for unpaid rent. The court holds that the defendants bear the burden of proof on that issue and that they have not sustained it.
