Plaintiff filed a petition in equity, suing as an innocent purchaser on a promissory note dated October 6, 1925, for $4,500, executed by the- defendant Geannoulis, of which note plaintiff became the holder in due course:' Plaintiff alleges that it is now the owner and holder of the same, and that it is due and wholly unpaid.
