STERNBERG, Justice.
Appellant Shelia Wilson, 26 years of age, and a male friend, Robert Wayne Goff (Sandy), were jointly indicted by the Christian County Grand Jury for the offense of murder (KRS 507.020(l)(a)). The victim was Michael Lewis Wilson (Mike), husband of appellant and father of their two children. The offense was alleged to have been committed on February 3,1978, in Christian County, Kentucky. The trial court granted a severance. A two-day trial, which commenced on March 12, 1979, resulted in the appellant’s being found guilty and sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment. On March…
