The plaintiff is a contract purchaser of a “L” shaped piece of land in the City of Rockford. At the time of the execution of the contract, a portion of the land was zoned “C” Residential and the remainder of the tract zoned “A” Residential. Under the zoning ordinance of the City of Rockford, convalescent or nursing homes are permitted in the “C” classification but not in the “A” classification.
