OPINION

MANNHEIMER, Judge.

Joseph A. Champion appeals his convictions for first-degree burglary, As 11.46.300(a), and second-degree theft, As 11.46.130(a)(2), as well as the sentence he received for these crimes. We affirm.

Facts of the Case

In the early morning of January 13, 1993, Champion was looking for money to buy alcohol and drugs. Sometime between 1:00 and 1:30 a.m., he came to the residence of James Burton, a friend and former employer.
