Defendant was prosecuted for murder, found guilty, without capital punishment, and duly sentenced, and she presents her case to this court upon a bill of exception to the overruling of a motion for new trial; the grounds here urged in support of the motion and bill being that one of the jurors was prompted in the finding of the verdict by the consideration of matters not developed by the evidence, and was prejudiced against defendant to such an extent as to prevent his giving her a fair trial, and that, since the trial, defendant has discovered new evidence, material to the case, which had…
