OPINION

Opinion by Justice CARTER.

A jury found Faron Todd guilty of four counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and one count of indecency with a child. See Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 22.021 (Vernon Supp.2007), § 21.11 (Vernon 2003). The jury assessed Todd’s punishment at sixty years’ imprisonment on each count of aggravated sexual assault and twenty years’ imprisonment for the sole count of indecency with a child. 1 Todd timely filed his motion for new trial, which was overruled by operation of law. See Tex.R.App. P. 21.4, 21.8(c). Todd now appeals his convictions, raising eight issues.…
