OPINION OF THE COURT

EAGEN, Chief Justice.

This is an appeal from the final decree of the Court of Common Pleas of Lycoming County, Orphans’ Court Division. Appellant contests the application of the Act of May 23, 1887, P.L. 158, § 5(e), 28 P.S. § 322 (1958) [hereinafter: Dead Man’s Statute] 1 to his testimony in support of his claim of sole ownership of certain farm machinery, equipment and livestock.
