The paternal grandmother GK and the paternal grandfather DK are estranged from their son, JK, and their daughter-in-law, EK, and it is not disputed that they have no relationship with their grandson, BK, born October x, 20xx. The grandmother is suffering from metastatic cancer. The grandparents filed a petition and then an amended petition seeking visitation with BK.
