LE BLANC, Justice.
This is a suit on a policy of windstorm insurance covering the premises bearing Municipal Number 703, Esplanade Avenue in the City or New Orleans. The policy contract is dated March S, 1947 and was in full force and effect on September Í9, 1947 when a severe hurricane struck the city of New Orleans and, as a result, the insured premises were damaged by the force of the wind and -by the water which fell through the damaged roof. The amount of the coverage was $10,000.00 and plaintiff claims that his property was damaged to the extent of $6413.00. In addition he claims that…
