The Division of Labor Standards, Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, State of Missouri (State) appeals the trial court’s dismissal with prejudice of its claim against Walton Construction Management Company, Inc. and Quick Electric, Inc. (Respondents). The State sought penalties against Respondents for violation of the Prevailing Wage Law, sections 290.210 to 290.340,1 in connection with construction work performed by Respondents on a new junior high school in Lee’s Summit.
