—In an action, inter alia, to recover on a promissory note, the defendant appeals from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Feuerstein, J.), dated April 20, 1999 which, upon the granting of the plaintiffs motion for summary judgment and upon the denial of his cross motion to dismiss the complaint, is in favor of the plaintiff and against him, inter alia, in the principal sum of $12,514.25.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed, with costs.
