for the Court:

¶ 1. On March 12, 2013, a jury in the Copiah County Circuit Court convicted Kevin Leigh Williams of failing to register as a sex offender. He was sentenced to serve three years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC). Following the denial of his post-trial motions, Williams appeals his conviction and sentence, primarily on the ground that his indictment was insufficient, as it did not allege the essential elements of the crime or the facts constituting the offense. We agree. Therefore, we reverse Williams’s conviction and sentence.…
