ORR, Senior Judge:
Consistent with his pleas, the appellant was convicted of reckless driving resulting in injury to himself and of involuntary manslaughter in causing the death of the passenger in his car in violation, respectively, of Articles 111 and 119, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. §§ 911, 919. The military judge, sitting alone, sentenced the appellant to confinement for 2 years, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, reduction to pay grade E-l, and a bad-conduct discharge.
