Plaintiff brought suit in the Circuit Court of Shelby County against defendant, Pru-' dential Insurance Company of America (hereinafter “Prudential”). Plaintiff sued for the alleged wrongful termination of disability benefits she had been receiving pursuant to a policy issued by Prudential to her former employer as part of her fringe benefits. Plaintiff’s complaint was amended, restated, supplemented and substituted for prior to a final determination in the trial court.
