—In an action, inter alia, to recover damages for breach of contract, the defendants appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (LaFauci, J.H.O.), entered December 11, 1997, which is in favor of the plaintiffs and against them in the principal amount of $441,693.83, and the plaintiffs cross-appeal from so much of the same judgment as failed to award them the additional sum of $30,000.

Ordered that the judgment is modified, on the facts, by deleting the provision thereof which awarded the plaintiffs damages in the principal amount of $441,693.83, and substituting therefor a…
