Crystal Gayle Ledbetter 1 was found guilty by a Harrison County jury of capital murder, acting as a party to the offense. 2 The State’s evidence showed that, on December 14, 2004, Roger Dale Sanders was stabbed multiple times in the course of being robbed. The evidence further showed that James Box, Ledbetter’s common-law husband, had set fire (with Sanders’ body inside) to Sanders’ truck.
