QUINN, Chief Justice.

Two complaints were filed with the Grievance Committee charging the respondent, William H. Foster, Jr., with four counts of professional misconduct. The allegations of professional misconduct encompassed a wide range of activities, including acts of misrepresentation and deceit, the simultaneous representation of conflicting interests, improper efforts by the respondent to exculpate himself from malpractice liability, improper borrowing of money and mishandling of a client’s funds, refusal to return a client’s file, and failure to account for moneys paid to the respondent…
