Appellants filed their bill in the circuit court of Kane county to contest the will of Cyrus Calkins, deceased, alleging, among other things, that the will was not executed in conformity with the requirements of the statute, for the reason that the persons signing the will as witnesses did not attest it in the presence of said Cyrus Calkins, but signed it in another room from the one in which he was lying and out of the range of his vision, where he did not and could not see the act of attestation.
