Andre Marcus Bragg (“Bragg”) petitions for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254, as amended by the Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996, Pub. L. No. 104-132, 110 Stat. 1218 (“AEDPA”). Bragg appeals the district court’s order denying his habeas corpus petition, arguing that he received ineffective assistance of counsel during his murder trial in California state court. We affirm and hold that (1) Bragg cannot establish ineffective assistance of counsel on the factually inadequate record before us; and (2) AEDPA does not permit us…
