This was an action against the Champion Cotton Press Company for injury to the value of a house and lot belonging to the plaintiff, alleged to arise from the' operation of the machinery of the company and the manner in which they conducted their business. The plaintiff owned a, house and lot on the east side of Cumberland street in the •city of Charleston, which was leased to one Guillemin.
