This suit was instituted by Agnes M. Corrigan against Claude E. Heard and others, seeking to set aside certain conveyances of real property and bills of sale to personal property alleged to have been executed under duress. She further sought to recover damages for injuries to her character and reputation, by reason of alleged slanderous and libelous statements uttered and published by defendants, which statements charged her with the commission of the crimes of embezzlement, theft and forgery.
