This appeal concerns a class action lawsuit brought under the Minnesota Fair Labor Standards Act (MFLSA or the Act) by a group of claims representatives against their employer, Farmers Insurance Exchange (Farmers). A jury found that the claims representatives were misclassified as “exempt,” but the jury awarded no compensatory damages.
