In response to an extradition request from the Governor of Michigan, Governor’s warrants were issued and relators, Robert Ely and Michael Miller, were arrested in Cook County, Illinois, as fugitives from justice. The Governor’s warrant for Ely indicated that he was wanted for burglary-related crimes committed in Eastpointe, Michigan.
