Following a 2007 jury trial in the circuit court of Cook County, the defendant, Anthony Pitchford, was convicted of the first degree murders of his girlfriend, Cathy Bradley (Bradley), and her father, Henry Woods (Woods). The defendant received a sentence of natural life in prison.
