This litigation involves the adoption of two children. The appellant, Jo Aim Richards, formerly Jo Ann Nesbitt, is the mother; Donald E. Nesbitt, one of the appellees, is the father. On August 8, 1962, the Probate Court of Pulaski County, First Division, acting on authority of Ark. Stat. Ann. § 56-106 (1947), appointed Ruth Johnston, Director of Child Welfare for the State of Arkansas, as guardian of the children, with full authority to consent to adoption without notice to or consent of the natural parents.
