This is an appeal from an order of the surrogate of Westchester county, confirming the report of an appraiser appointed to determine the amount of tax to be imposed upon the transfer of property under the will of George A. Brandreth, who died in November, 1897, leaving surviving him a widow and four daughters, Mrs. Borup, Mrs. Larkin, Mrs. Kane and Mrs. Potter. The will was admitted to probate in Westchester county, and letters testamentary were issued to Mrs. Kane and Mr. Larkin'.
