Plaintiff, Betty J. Matts, administratrix of the estate of her deceased son, Ronald Matts, filed a medical malpractice complaint against R. K. Homsi, M.D., P.C., and R. K. Homsi, M.D., individually (hereinafter collectively referred to as defendant). The essential allegation of plaintiff’s complaint was that defendant was guilty of negligently treating plaintiff’s son following his involvement in an automobile accident on October 11, 1975.
