These parties occupy adjoining farms in the town of Grand Isle. The farm of the oratrix, known as the Hyde-Farm, lies south of the one occupied by the defendant, which is known as the Sampson Farm. A highway runs through the farms in a northerly and southerly direction. The Hyde Farm originally embraced all the territory of lot No. 272,' but a small piece of about eight acres out of the northeast corner of the lot now belongs to the defendant, and is occupied by him in connection with the Sampson Farm.
