Douglas Middleton appeals from a judgment convicting him of first-degree murder, arson, and armed robbery, secs. 940.01, 943.02 and 943.32(2), Stats. Middleton argues that the trial court should have suppressed his post-arrest oral and written confessions that he killed Hilda Miller.
