Lewis Wolf, an employee of Louisiana Milk Products Co., Inc., on the 10th of July, 1926, while engaged in doing the work he was employed to do, fell on the floor of the ice cream vault and injured his right knee.

The injury was a bad one. Plaintiff alleges in his petition that he has not been able to walk since, except on crutches, a period of about nine months, counting from the time of the injury to that of the trial.
