Plaintiffs, representing all similarly situated taxing districts located within Cook County, filed a class action suit against Cook County and Edward J. Rosewell, in his capacity as Cook County Treasurer (the Treasurer), seeking to recover interest earned from the investment of certain taxes which defendants collected on behalf of plaintiffs.
