OPINION ON APPELLANT’S PETITION FOR DISCRETIONARY REVIEW

MILLER, Judge.

Appellant was charged with the offense of murder. The jury found him guilty and the trial court assessed punishment at con finement for twenty-five years. On appeal to the Court of Appeals, appellant contended that a knife found on his person when he was arrested should have been suppressed because his arrest was illegal. The Court of Appeals overruled appellant’s point of error and appellant’s conviction was affirmed. DeJamette v. State, 706 S.W.2d 680 (Tex.App.-Houston [14th], 1986).
