In the course of this judicial settlement proceeding the court is asked to determine whether or not interest is payable upon the general legacies, and, if so, from what date and at what rate or rates interest shall be computed. Testator died on May 12, 1938, and his net taxable estate was reported at about $90,000, approximately one third of which was liquid.
