This is an action for defamation, intentional interference with advantageous relations, emotional distress, and violation of G. L. c. 93A, §11. The defendant counterclaimed, alleging intentional interference with advantageous relations, defamation and violation of G. L. c. 93A, § 11. Except for the c. 93A claim, the case was tried before a jury which found in favor of the plaintiff. In response to special questions, the jury assessed $5,000 in damages “other than damages for emotional distress” and no damages on the emotional distress claim.
