OPINION OF THE COURT

Graffeo, J.

This case requires us to consider whether the allegations in the complaint establish a viable cause of action for breach of fiduciary duty against a cleric premised on an alleged 372-year *18sexual relationship between consenting adults. We agree with the Appellate Division that the complaint must be dismissed.
