Section 152 of ch. 90, Laws of 1973, established a new compensation plan consisting of ten executive salary groups. Such section effectuates increased salaries for various elective and appointive state offices. Several members of the legislature have announced or are contemplating announcing their candidacy for various state offices. Additionally, members of the legislature may be considered for appointment to state offices created during the current legislative session. You, therefore, request my opinion "as to whether Art.
