The initial action in this lengthy litigation was filed in federal district court by appellees I. T. S. R. E., Ltd. and I. R. E. Realty Advisors, Inc., (a Florida real estate investment limited partnership and its corporate general partner, hereinafter collectively referred to as “IRE”) against appellant First Federal Savings & Loan Association of Detroit (First Federal) on May 22,1975.
