Writ of error to a judgment of the Circuit Court of Randolph county, pronounced May 26, 1888, in an action of unlawful detainer in which Joseph H. Voss, Susan G-. Elder and Sophy S. Showard are plaintiffs, and Patrick King is defendant.

The action was commenced on December 14, 1886, to recover from the defendant the possession of a tract of 1,000 acres of land in Roaring Creek district in Randolph county, and fully described in the summons. The case was tried by jury on the issue of not guilty, and a verdict was returned in favor of the plaintiffs for 207 acres, a part of the…
