Chubb & Son, Inc. (“Chubb”), as subro-gee of Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. (“Samsung Semiconductor”), appeals from the judgment of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Lorretta A. Preska, Judge) entered September 28, 1998, granting partial summary judgement to Asiana Airlines (“Asia-na”) and thereby limiting its liability to $706.00.
