This is a proceeding to cancel a deed on the ground of an alleged fraud of the grantee in procuring it. There was a decree for the defendants, and plaintiffs have appealed.

Washington Carter died intestate in 1874, owning 538 acres of land northwest of and adjoining Webb City. He left a widow who died in 1887. His son G-eorge died about 1882 intestate and without ever having been married. Another son, A. G-. Carter, died in 1903, leaving a widow Harriet and a minor son, George.
