Opinion

ELDER, J.

Alfredo Garrett, defendant, was convicted of two attempted robberies, four robberies, and six counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. The trial court sentenced him to thirty-seven years in prison and suspended an additional sixty-five years for a period of twenty years. On appeal, defendant asserts that the trial court erred in denying his motion for a ruling that his offenses were part of a common scheme pursuant to Code § SS.l-ISliBXl). For the reasons stated herein, we affirm the judgment of the trial court.
